📲 How to access subscription settings
🆕 This is a new feature — please make sure you have the latest version of the app installed.
Whether you're signed in or using the app as a guest, you can manage your subscription by following these steps:
Go to the Profile tab (bottom right) and tap your account section — either Guest or My Account (with your email).
On the My Account screen, tap the crown icon in the top right corner.
Scroll to the bottom of the Premium Features page and tap Manage Subscription.
⚠️ Only logged-in users see all subscriptions
Fishbox offers two ways to subscribe, and where your subscription shows depends on how you signed up:
If you subscribed via the iOS app, your subscription will always be visible inside the app — even if you're not logged in.
If you subscribed on the website, your subscription is linked to your email address. To see it in the app, you must be logged in with the same email you used when subscribing.
If you're logged in with a different email — or not logged in at all — your web subscription won’t appear.
💡 Subscription details you'll see
If you have a subscription, the screen will show:
Status (Active / Expiring / Cancelled / Payment Issue)
Plan name
Price
Next renewal date
If you don’t have a subscription (or it can’t be detected), you’ll see a paywall with subscription offers.
✅ How to cancel your subscription
Tap Manage Subscription. You will be directed to the correct cancellation screen depending on the subscription source.
Tap Cancel Subscription:
If you subscribed via the App Store, you’ll be taken to your Apple ID settings. Tap Cancel Free Trial or Cancel Subscription there.
If you subscribed on the website, you’ll be redirected to fishbox.com in your browser, where you can cancel directly.
You’ll stay on Premium until the end of your billing period.
